SPREADSHEET MIGRATION
Replace your watch inventory spreadsheet
Your stock sheet started with ten columns. Now it has forty, three colours that mean sold, and a tab only one person understands.
Why it keeps happening
Watch dealerships move fast. When a trade comes in, someone types it into whatever sheet is open on their laptop. When a deposit arrives by wire, someone adds a note in a cell. When a watch goes out on memo to a partner dealer, someone colours the row yellow.
Within a few months, you have duplicate rows for the same serial number, dates in three different formats, and formulas showing #REF! because someone deleted row 12.
What it costs you
Suppose a partner dealer returns a Daytona 116500LN after a 30-day memo period. A sales associate adds it as a new row because they cannot find the original entry. Your sheet now counts two in stock when you hold one.
How LUXMNZ handles it
1. One record per serial number
A serial number can only exist once per business workspace. Duplicates are refused at intake as they are typed.
2. Clear lifecycle status chips
Status is never a cell colour. Available, On hold, Sold, and Memo / Consignment are explicit statuses with a dated history log.
3. Unified invoicing and delivery
The watch you add to inventory is the exact record invoiced, shipped and reported on. No numbers are typed twice.
